Daye Pads absorb fluid rapidly to prevent leaks, even if the pad shifts position. The absorbency ranges from 10g for Liners up to 160g for Super Plus pads.

To put this in context, the typical volume of menstrual fluid lost during an average cycle is 10-80g over 8 days.

Daye's Regular pads at 100g absorbency are equivalent to using 8 off-the-shelf, plastic pads. The 160g Super Plus pads could theoretically absorb an entire average period's worth of menstrual fluid. This high absorbency helps provide peace of mind against leaks.

Regenerative hemp fiber, GOTS certified organic cotton, chlorine-free natural wood pulp, super absorbent polymer, plant-based compostable PLA, biodegradable paper with eco ink.

Biodegradable bamboo fiber top layer, sustainably sourced wood pulp intermediate layer, eco-friendly starch base layer, non-stick release paper, non-toxic adhesive

Currently, Daye Pads come in 4 different sizes:
Liners (15.5 cm long), Regular (10in long), Super (12in long), and Super Plus (36cm long).

Daye pads are proven to both biodegrade and compost within 154 days. (This is less time than it takes a banana or citrus peel to decompose)**.

Regardless of whether you throw your pad away in the regular waste bin, or put them in your compost, they won't produce microplastics.

The speed of degradation will depend on the conditions within the waste pile, including temperature, humidity and the specific composting practice implemented.

Please note that the biodegradability and compostability of our pads is tested under internationally recognized standards including  ISO16929 and ASTM D6868-03.

Yes, our pads have bio-based, compostable wings to help your pad stay in place during wear, regardless of the intensity of your movements. The wings also prevent your pad from scrunching up in your underwear during the day.

Daye pads do not contain any chlorine bleach.

Daye Pads are super thin, yet highly absorbent. Daye tampons are manufactured in accordance with medical device standards, including ISO13485 and GMP. In order for a diagnosis to be confirmed, test results from the Diagnostic Tampon should be considered by a licensed healthcare provider alongside a patient's symptoms and medical history. Like every other diagnostic test, lab results are not sufficient for a diagnosis. Daye offers customers the option to connect with independent CQC-regulated healthcare providers virtually and in-person for a confirmed diagnosis. All prescriptions and treatments provided through the Daye platform are issued by third-party, independent pharmacists, who are also regulated under CQC and GPhC.
