A healthy vaginal microbiome is associated with:
An illustration of the vaginal microbiome showing how good and bad bacteria including lactobacilli and pathogens interact
an illustration of the uterus and ovaries showing an ovarian issue such as PCOS or endometriosis
an illustration of a healthcare report illustrating the relationship between gynaecological cancers and the vaginal microbiome
an ultrasound illustration showing the relationship between the vaginal microbiome and fertility including pre-term labour and miscarriage
Certain good bacteria can contribute to the overall health of the vaginal microbiome. A balanced vaginal microbiome is defined as having a ratio of good to bad bacteria of 80 to 20 or better. Daye's ProViotic was developed specifically to increase the ratio of good bacteria in the vaginal canal, strengthening the overall health of the vaginal microbiome.

Frequently asked questions

Daye tampons are manufactured in accordance with medical device standards, including ISO13485 and GMP. In order for a diagnosis to be confirmed, test results from the Diagnostic Tampon should be considered by a licensed healthcare provider alongside a patient's symptoms and medical history. Like every other diagnostic test, lab results are not sufficient for a diagnosis. Daye offers customers the option to connect with independent CQC-regulated healthcare providers virtually and in-person for a confirmed diagnosis. All prescriptions and treatments provided through the Daye platform are issued by third-party, independent pharmacists, who are also regulated under CQC and GPhC.
