Meet your vaginal flora

Like your gut, your vagina is home to billions of bacteria (some good, some bad). These make up your vaginal microbiome. When it doesn’t contain enough good bacteria, you’re at greater risk of infections like STIs, thrush and BV.

Is your vaginal microbiome surviving, or thriving?

Having a high level of good bacteria (Lactobacilli) means your vaginal microbiome is thriving.

Why should you care? Because it’s not just thrush and BV it wards off. A healthy vaginal microbiome has been shown to lessen the risk of other vaginal health problems too.

A healthy vaginal microbiome is associated with:

Enhance your gut and vaginal microbiome alike

Lab tests have confirmed that ProViotics survive in the acidic environments of both the gut and the vagina. This means they reach you alive, unlike other brands of probiotics.

Yes, Daye ProViotics are safe to use when pregnant, breastfeeding or TTC.

Research suggests that Lactobacilli-containing probiotics have potential benefits for maternal and neo-natal well-being.

  • Daye ProViotics contain bacteria grown in organic carrot juice, whereas most probiotic products are grown in milk cultures. They’re free from allergens like soy, dairy, nuts and gluten.
  • The bacteria we use is also freeze-dried, which means it retains its properties for longer, and you don’t have to store it in the fridge.
  • Each tablet contains 2.5 billion live cells of Lactobacillus plantarum GLP3. What's key about Daye ProViotics is that all of our cultures are live, which means they can reach your gut or vagina.

While ProViotics aren't considered medications (hence, we cannot say that they “cure” thrush),  reveal a strong 99.8% efficacy of Lactobacillus Plantarum against Candida, the fungus linked to yeast infections. Our ProViotics can support the diversity of your vaginal microbiome, which in turn can offer potential support against infections like thrush and BV.

Great question. The answer is both!

We already know how important the gut is for overall health, but researchers are starting to unveil how the gut plays a role in vaginal health as well.

Daye tampons are manufactured in accordance with medical device standards, including ISO13485 and GMP. In order for a diagnosis to be confirmed, test results from the Diagnostic Tampon should be considered by a licensed healthcare provider alongside a patient's symptoms and medical history. Like every other diagnostic test, lab results are not sufficient for a diagnosis. Daye offers customers the option to connect with independent CQC-regulated healthcare providers virtually and in-person for a confirmed diagnosis. All prescriptions and treatments provided through the Daye platform are issued by third-party, independent pharmacists, who are also regulated under CQC and GPhC.
